What is DarkHorse AMS?
DarkHorse AMS is an insurance agency management system (AMS) for independent agencies. It includes the insurance CRM, a comparative rater, commission tracking, COI generation, carrier downloads and a client portal — deployed on your own server and branded as your agency.
Is DarkHorse AMS an insurance CRM or an AMS?
It's an AMS. It includes everything an insurance CRM does — clients, pipeline, tasks, email, retention — plus policy-, carrier- and commission-aware tools a generic CRM doesn't have.
How much does it cost?
$250 per month, flat, with no per-agent pricing. One-time fees apply only for data migration or email setup, and they're quoted upfront. Your own Quotamation API contract and any Bold Penguin appointment are separate.
Where does my agency's data live?
On a server deployed for your agency. You own your data.
Can you move my existing book over?
Yes. We start from an export of your current system and tell you what comes across. We have imported customers, policies and open leads from an AgencyZoom export.
Is it for property & casualty agencies?
Yes — it's built for independent property & casualty agencies writing personal and commercial lines.
